Angel Tree
This year WAVE 3, Kroger and the Salvation Army are celebrating
the 22nd Anniversary of the Angel Tree in Kentuckiana.
Last year, more than 7,000 children were
able to have something under the Christmas tree thanks to the Angel
Tree program and the generous support of the community.
You can help make Christmas brighter for a local child in need by
going to one of these area locations, select an Angel, shop for
their gifts and return them to the same location. But please shop
early -- the deadline for returning your gifts is Sunday, December
10th.
You will find Angel Tree locations at the following area malls:
Mall St. Matthews
Jefferson Mall
Oxmoor Center
Green Tree Mall
Wal-Mart in Corydon
You can also help by providing Christmas dinner for these local
Angel Tree families. Just go to any area Kroger store and look for a
paper "food angel"
on the tree at the customer service desk. They will scan the paper
angel at the check out line and include your $25 donation worth of
food to the Angel Tree program.
